The ninth annual American Cancer Society “Power of Pink” Fashion Show and Luncheon drew hundreds of people to the big event held recently at The Cloister ballroom on Sea Island. The luncheon is held each year to support breat cancer research.
The Fashion Show featured two local stores, Moncrief’s on St. Simons Island and Lady in White in downtown Brunswick. The showcased styles were from casual to elegant. Every model was a breast cancer survivor. Ann Dempsey, Associate Broker with Hodnett Cooper Real Estate was one of the models.
If you would like to make a donation or assist the local Cancer Society with their special events, please contact them at 912-265-7117.

It’s great to hear there was a good turn out for an American Cancer Society event. In case anyone is not able to donate, I use the http://www.Give2Network.com toolbar which is a free way to give by having all your searching and shopping from the toolbar give to the charity or other non-profit of your choosing (mine naturally is registered to the American Cancer Society
). If someone is not able to give, the toolbar is a great way to help out and earn money for the American Cancer Society.
